Bridge to Dosti is an effort to develop friendship through letter between children from children's    organizations in India like Sphoorti and children from the developed nations like the US and the UK.

Thirteen children from Sphoori currently participate in this program and have made friends from    children (mostly second generation Indian-Americans) with the help of the Internet and    correspond regularly with their 'e-pals'.

Our children write letters on paper, we get them scanned and send them through email to an overseas coordinator. The coordinator in turns collects replies from children there and routes them to Sphoorti over email.

We believe that through this program, our children will develop rapport over a period of time with children staying overseas.
